Lincoln University Concert Choir

The Lincoln University Concert Choir is one of the premier organizations on the campus of Lincoln University and membership is open to all students.  The singers who make up this extraordinary choral ensemble hail from all corners of the globe and are pursuing a myriad of degrees in a variety of academic disciplines.  Their vocal prowess and penchant for maintaining the African American choral traditions in their music has allowed the choir to achieve a renowned reputation of excellence on the regional, state, and national levels.  You won’t want to miss it!

Steve McCurry: A Life in Pictures

Steve McCurry rose to become one of the most iconic voices in contemporary photography over the past forty years including his well known image of the young green-eyed Afghan Girl. The 2018 book A Life in Pictures is the most complete and definitive volume of his life and work. Presented by Steve’s sister and Tel Hai resident Bonnie (McCurry) V’Soske Reum, she’ll share images and insights into the cultures and people covered by Steve in Afghanistan, India, and many other regions of Asia. His work includes coverage of many of the most important turning points in world history including numerous wars, the fall of the Berlin Wall and September 11.

GriefShare Workshop Series

GriefShare is a special seminar and support group designed to help you rebuild your life after losing a loved one. Through this group, you will have friends to walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Led by caring members of the Pastoral Care team, sessions include video seminar with experts, support group discussion, and focus on personal study and reflection. Registration is recommended. Internment of Japanese Americans

Tel Hai residents Herb and Miiko Horikawa will share their personal experience of the evacuation of Japanese and Japanese-Americans into internment camps in 1942 following the entrance of the United States into World War II. Both American-born citizens living in California, they were included among the 120,000 Japanese-Americans who were forcibly removed from their homes and incarcerated into America’s Concentration Camps.

Historical Moments with Ross Kershey

In this five-week lecture series event, we’ll explore the history of the Supreme Court (weeks 1 & 2), Controversial Presidential Elections (week 3), Amelia Earhart (week 4) and the Lindbergh Kidnapping (week 5). Pianist Jeffrey Uhlig & Violinist David Kim: A Tel Hai Performing Arts Series Event

Pianist Jeffrey Uhlig returns to Tel Hai for a captivating evening of entertainment with his violinist David Kim. A regular performer with members from the Philadelphia Orchestra, Uhlig is an in-demand chamber music player, vocal coach and accompanist. As the Philadelphia Orchestra Concertmaster and an acclaimed soloist, Kim graduated from Julliard, and teaches at several universities and conservatories.
