Extending support and connection to neighbors beyond Tel Hai.

Connecting with our neighbors throughout the surrounding community has been a deeply-rooted priority in Tel Hai’s culture for over 65 years. Our primary focus, of course, is on empowering the lives of our team members and residents. Even so, we also do what we can to nurture the well-being of individuals, organizations, and businesses across the Brandywine Valley.

Tel Hai’s community involvement and service to neighbors takes many forms. Sometimes it is providing access to quality care for seniors, educational efforts, and cultural programs. Other times, it’s opportunities in faith, recreational activities, affordable senior housing, and more.

Our Community Engagement Committee leads Tel Hai’s unique ‘Charity of Choice‘ outreach program. It offers support to organizations providing services to address chronic hunger, promoting health and wellness services, and providing services to Tel Hai residents, team members, and/or their families.

2025 ‘Charity of Choice’ Program Selection Timeline

Each April & May, we encourage organizations to apply online to be selected as a ‘Charity of Choice.’

• April 1 – May 31: The online application period is now open for applicants.  Use the form below for entry.
• June: Tel Hai representatives review all program applications.
• July: Charities are selected, informed and funding is provided.
