Serving the Community

A passion for reaching out to the greater community and connecting with our neighbors has been deeply rooted in Tel Hai’s culture for more than 50 years. As we uncompromisingly focus on enhancing the quality of life for our residents on campus, we also strive to improve the well-being of individuals, organizations, and businesses in the greater community.

Our faithful service to neighbors takes many forms. We provide the community with access to quality care for children and seniors, educational and cultural programming, opportunities to grow in faith, professional guidance, recreational activities, affordable senior housing, and volunteer service. We also continually seek out new ways to contribute to the betterment of those in the surrounding area and further demonstrate Christ’s love for all persons.

The following represents a portion of the efforts we have undertaken to serve the greater community in recent years:

– Hosting a high-school art exhibit for students in 5 local schools

– Conducting our annual food drive for the Twin Valley Food Pantry

– Supplying the Chester County Food Pantry with fresh vegetables from our Garden Club

– Co-sponsoring the Honey Brook Lions annual Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast

– Donating the use of our bus for Harmony Day

– Contributing as a Harmony Day sponsor to help promote and market the event

– Hosting our annual Merchants’ Faire so that local businesses or service providers can promote their company

– Serving as a toy drop off location for the Honey Brook Police Chief’s annual toy drive
