Navigating the Risks of the Fair Housing Act

Tel Hai Retirement Community invites our professional colleagues within the aging-services and long-term care field to join us for an educational lecture titled “Navigating the Risks of the Fair Housing Act” by Christina Wildrick, J.D., Director of Risk Management for Friends Services Alliance. Opportunity will be given to share your questions, scenarios and stories with the group. Please submit below any questions you have for Christina with your registration.

The program will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 in the StoneCroft Center for Worship & Performing Arts on the campus of Tel Hai Retirement Community, located at 4000 Tree Line Drive, Honey Brook, Pa.

The presentation is from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and a continental breakfast will be provided.

Personal care is provided within distinctively unique, homelike accommodations within Lakeview Personal Care at Tel Hai. For each resident, a personalized assessment prior to move-in and periodically throughout their stay will determine the level of personal care necessary to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for the resident.

Services include:

  • 24-hour nursing support by licensed and/or certified staff
  • Support plan developed and monitored based on needs and requests
  • Tailored memory support/dementia care & programming
  • Expansive enrichment, recreational, educational, social, spiritual and wellness programming
  • Supportive services, resident advocacy, family support and referrals
  • Access to on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy
  • Access to on-site audiology, dental, podiatry, dermatology, laboratory, psychiatry, psychology, vision and x-ray services
  • Assistance with scheduling appointments and transportation services
  • Access to the Moving Resources Program, services and support

Accommodations & Amenities include:

  • Variety of floor plans, all including an en suite full bathroom
  • Three chef-prepared nutritious meals, plus daily snacks

Prior to admission, we will review your care options and verify insurance eligibility coverage and potential member responsibility fees for personal care services. Costs may vary according to the accommodation selected, number of occupants, needs required and any additional amenities selected. Lakeview Personal Care at Tel Hai is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services as a personal care home.
