Tel Hai Development Inc., is a Pennsylvania registered 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Established as Tel Hai Charities in 1980, this separate business entity was renamed Tel Hai Development, Inc. in 2005 to better represent the vision and direction for future growth here at Tel Hai Retirement Community. The Office of Development and its staff serve the donors to the organization in a variety of ways: fund raising special events, memorial gifting, major gifts, planned giving arrangements, financial advisor coordination and other functions related to gifting.

We are continually grateful to the generosity of many who, throughout the past half-century, have helped ensure that there would be a place -- a special place -- to meet the unique needs of seniors. Through the benevolence of Mrs. Sarah E. Wright, a Scholarship Fund was established to provide employees and their children ongoing access to higher education and improved employment opportunities. Mrs. Romaine Garrett's legacy gift paved the way for the Garrett Community Center, a place where people come for business, delicious meals, socialization and wellness. These are just two of the many visionary donors who continue to make Tel Hai a special community.
